managed by the Cloud Systems Engineering Team.\nEvaluate, propose, and build tooling to support and optimize operations in a KVM Virtualization platform.\nCloudStack Administration and Engineering\nParticipate in the estimation and execution of Customer-Facing Linux Systems Projects\nDefine, implement, and respond to Internal Linux Operational alerting.\nDefine and implement operational reports and dashboards for capacity management and other operational needs.\nEnsure high-quality, consistent telemetry across all environments\nArchitect and manage CloudStack deployments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and multi-tenant functionality\nLead the technical diagnoses of Linux system problems as part of the ITIL Problem management process\nDefine and publish organizational standards for Linux Server Infrastructure\nManage and customize platform and infrastructure monitoring utilizing LogicMonitor and Grafana\nImplement standards as infrastructure-as-code using configuration management tools, Ansible, and Terraform\nEstablish and maintain security hardening standards across all Linux environments\nDevelop configuration management pipelines to manage drift across Linux environments using GitHub and Ansible.\nStay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Linux systems with development pipelines\nMentor junior engineers and create technical documentation for knowledge transfer\n\nYour Knowledge & Expertise\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, Telecommunications, or related technical field\nRed Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent Linux certifications\nCompTIA Linux+ or LPIC-2 certification\nVMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent virtualization certification\n5+ years of advanced Linux system administration experience in enterprise environments\nProficiency with KVM virtualization technologies and management\nStrong background in Network Management Systems (NMS) integration and configuration\nAdvanced scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go\nExperience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, or Chef)\nProven experience with LogicMonitor, Zabbix, and Grafana monitoring platforms\nDeep understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, and firewall configuration\nLinux security hardening and compliance framework implementation experience\nCustomer-facing project delivery experience with strong communication skills\nProven hands-on experience operating Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) at scale, including performance tuning, benchmarking, hardening, and troubleshooting\nDemonstrated experience with observability tooling such as Splunk, ElasticSearch, Graphite, Zabbix, log pipelines, and metrics systems\nProficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation frameworks such as Ansible, Chef, or Salt\nExperience designing or supporting
