This role participates in materials, process, project, equipment, and methods development to optimize manufacturing performance. Responsibilities include planning and executing experimental evaluations, improving process efficiency, supporting equipment maintenance and modifications, and contributing to the development and commercialization of new products.\nThe Process Engineer will lead and support process optimization initiatives, new product trials, and productivity improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance operational effectiveness.\nCore Competencies:\nIndustrial machinery troubleshooting\nClear and concise written and verbal communication\nStrong organizational and time-management skills\nData analysis and interpretation\nExperience in nonwoven manufacturing (preferred)\nBehavioral Competencies:\nDemonstrated PDCA (Plan–Do–Check–Act) project skills\nStructured, disciplined approach to daily activities\nAccountability for assigned tasks and outcomes\nStrong cross-functional collaboration\nResults-driven mindset\nTechnical Competencies:\nHigh mechanical aptitude\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies\nKnowledge of Design of Experiments\nStatistical analysis capability\nKey Responsibilities (What/How):\nProvide daily process support to manufacturing operations.\nLead root cause analyses to identify and resolve process inefficiencies.\nConduct data-driven analyses to support continuous process improvements.\nDevelop, maintain, and update process documentation and standard procedures.\nSupport training activities related to new or revised process procedures.\nAssist with equipment repairs, replacements, and modifications to improve reliability and functionality.\nParticipate in new product engineering efforts and support plant trials.\nPhysical Demands:\nThis position requires frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. The position requires frequent lifting, walks and stands for long periods of time, and performs strenuous physical labor under extreme temperatures.
