You’ll get hands-on with advanced protective relaying, electrical transfer schemes, and industrial communication protocols that power refineries, utilities, and offshore platforms.The Role Lead the engineering, testing, and commissioning of automated switchgear solutions and electrical transfer schemes. Develop and program complex relay configuration files using industry-leading hardware including SEL, GE, Siemens, and Beckwith. Design and configure robust ladder logic and structured text for industrial electrical control systems. Implement and troubleshoot common industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP, IEC61850, and DNP 3.0. Drive project success from initial Functional Design and documentation through to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and On-site Acceptance Testing (SAT).What You'll Need BSEE (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution. Proven experience in Automation, Protective Relaying, or Power Systems engineering. Technical proficiency in programming logic and interpreting complex electrical switchgear drawings and markups. Strong analytical troubleshooting skills with the ability to travel up to 25% to diverse customer sites (refineries, substations, offshore).
