This role requires deep expertise in LAN/WAN, enterprise wireless networking, network security engineering, collaboration tools, cloud hosting, and advanced communication services.\nThis position is contingent upon award.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nOperational Support\nSoftware Maintenance and Upgrades\nTelecommunications Maintenance (Data, Voice, Images, including Wireless)\nInfrastructure Management Services (IMS)\nConfiguration Management\nNetwork/Hardware Support\nIT Support (Tier 3 support)\nExplicit Knowledge of Routing Protocols\nNetwork Troubleshooting/Fault Isolation\nResource Management\nBackup and Recovery Management\nInstallation, Configuration, and Tuning\nElectronic Software Licensing Services including license: deployment, management, tracking, upgrading, etc.\nSystem Management – Firewalls, etc.\nIT Operation and Maintenance Planning\nData Quality Management\nTransformation Services\nContinual Service Improvement\nBalanced Scorecard for Operations\nIT Infrastructure Optimization\nWhat You’ll Bring:\n15 years' experience providing network engineering support on programs related to network systems and infrastructure with over 5,500 field sites, 2 or more datacenters/colocation facilities, and 250,000+ users.\nCCNP certification – Active\nITILv4 certification – Active\nAbility to attain and maintain DHS Entry on Duty (EOD)\nMust be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.\nSuccessful results of preemployment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.\nComply with company drug and alcohol policy.\nBe authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate’s start date.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n15+ years supporting DHS LAN/WAN\n10+ years supporting DHS System ATO and C&A activities\nExperience supporting DHS St. Elizabeth Campus network\nExperience supporting network modernization projects\nCompensation\nExpected Annual Salary: $105,000 - $133,000\nVersar Global Solutions provides the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the Company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
