Payroll Accounting Manager

Accounting ManagerThis Accounting Manager position is responsible for accounting activities related to month-end close and financial reporting, account analysis and documentation for BrightSpring Health Services operations.ResponsibilitiesAssists with monthly, quarterly, and annual audit requirementsSupervises accounting staffReviews and approves reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements to ensure that they are prepared properly and follow-up on any unusual itemsOversees maintenance of systems and controls that verify the integrity of systems, processes, and dataEvaluates and makes appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes, ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organizationMaintains relationships with internal and external auditorsReports to management on variances from the established budget and the reasons for those variancesEnsures that all general ledger accounts are reconciled to subsidiary records on a monthly basisCommunicates key information to top executive managementLeads and directs work of othersRelies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsPerforms other tasks as assignedQualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting requiredExperience/Qualifications: 5-8 years in Accounting, including 2-3 years in a supervisory role requiredLicense/Certification: CPA preferredKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesKnowledge of general accounting and US GAAP requiredStrong written and verbal communication skills requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills requiredExcellent computer skills including Excel, Word, Access, and related accounting software requiredOutstanding financial reporting and analytical skills requiredKnowledge of internal and external audit requirements requiredAbility to utilize new tools and technologies in a rapidly changing environment requiredKnowledge of OracleAbout Our Line of BusinessBrightSpring Health Services provides complementary home- and community-based pharmacy and provider health solutions for complex populations in need of specialized and/or chronic care.
