The ideal candidate brings a blend of analytical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to influence through data-driven insights to support both tactical execution and long-term growth strategies.\n\nReporting Relationships\n\nDirectly reports to the Senior Director, Financial Planning and Analysis and may supervise others.\n\n REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES\n• Ability to build and maintain complex Excel or system-based models to project financial outcomes.\n• Advanced Power BI abilities and experience building dashboards.\n• Advanced Excel abilities.\n• Strong analytical skills to extract insights from large datasets.\n• Understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow).\n• Strong financial modeling of different scenarios to guide decision making.\n• Strong communication skills including the ability to interface with senior management.\n• Capable of identifying financial trends/issues and recommending solutions.\n• High level of accuracy in analysis and reporting.\n• Self-starter with a natural curiosity, ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively, and a desire to impact the business through analysis/data.\n\nEXPECTATIONS\n• Develop large data warehouse and analytics platform. The initial focus will be on sales and margin, and expand into other parts of the business, including manufacturing and procurement.\n• Enhance and manage price, volume, mix analysis to give leadership insight into drivers of growth/decline at the product and customer levels.\n• Own Gross Sales and global customer/product margin analyses, ensuring accuracy and insight into key drivers.\n• Utilize market intelligence and economic indicators in budgeting and forecasting to define methodology and improve accuracy.\n• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling in support of sales and Direct Material Cost (DMC) strategies.\n• Support strategic initiatives strategic market planning and business framework strategy.\n• Conduct profitability analyses by Region, Customer, and Product to inform pricing, production allocation and investment decisions.\n• Monitor and analyze Sales Performance Metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth.\n• Evaluate Manufacturing Operations KPIs to support cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives.\n• Implement and monitor cost-control initiatives, ensuring alignment with budget targets and overall financial performance.\n• Act as a financial business partner to Global Sales, Manufacturing Operations, and Supply Chain organizations, offering insights and guidance to improve efficiency and profitability.\n• Support key corporate initiatives and compliance activities including, but not limited to,\no Annual Financial Statements\no Transfer Pricing\no New product reporting\no Stage Gate processes\n• Provide financial support and insights on special projects, executive requests, or time-sensitive initiatives as needed.\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nThis is an in-office position in Charlotte, NC with flexibility to work remotely as necessary.
