{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"307ff1974cb7fa5edc3967cf","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/307ff1974cb7fa5edc3967cf","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/307ff1974cb7fa5edc3967cf","title":"Senior Front End Developer","description":"Responsibilities:\nExperienced UI Front End Software Engineer (SWE3), directly meeting mission-critical needs in partnership with mission customers.\nThis individual will lead a team of UI developers, designing front-end architecture and coding standards while remaining hands-on in development across the full software product lifecycle in an agile environment.\nResponsibilities span analyzing user requirements to derive design and performance standards, developing and debugging software, integrating systems, and implementing algorithms to meet performance goals.\nThe ideal candidate has front end experience, translates UX/UI designs into accessible, production-ready interfaces, and mentors junior developers while collaborating closely with system engineers and product stakeholders to resolve technical problem areas.\nLead and mentor a team of UI/front-end developers, providing technical guidance, standards, and code review\nArchitect and implement scalable, maintainable front-end solutions using modern frameworks\nTranslate prototypes and design specifications into functional, responsive, and accessible interfaces\nPartner with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure design intent is preserved through implementation\nIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecks, cross-browser issues, and technical debt\nParticipate in sprint planning, technical estimation, and architectural decision-making\nEnsure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, WCAG) throughout development\n\nRequired:\nActive and current TS.SCI w FSP through MD\nTwelve (12) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required\nProven experience leading or mentoring a development team\nStrong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)\nFull-stack experience, including backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, RESTful/GraphQL API design\nExperience with state management, component-based architecture, and responsive design\nFamiliarity with version control (Git) CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud is a plus)\nExperience working closely with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure accurate implementation of accessible interfaces\nExperience working with tiered architectural systems and in a Linux/Ubuntu environment is a plus\nEducation:\nBachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
