Professional Driver, Full Time Full Time Southaven, MS, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 1004 You will safely transport workers between designated locations on a fixed schedule or on-demand and deliver excellent customer service. This role includes performing routine vehicle inspections and communicating effectively with dispatch to keep trips on time. Key Responsibilities Safely operate the shuttle bus along assigned routes and schedules. Provide courteous, professional customer service; greet passengers and assist with boarding. Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Hours of Service requirements. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections; document mileage, fuel. Maintain clear communication with dispatch regarding delays, changes, incidents, or hazards. Adjust routes as needed for traffic, construction, or weather while prioritizing safety and on-time performance. Support safe boarding practices; manage onboard conduct to ensure a comfortable ride for all passengers. Follow incident and accident reporting procedures; complete required paperwork accurately and on time. Participate in required safety meetings and training; uphold company dress code and professional standards. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL/Class A/B with passenger endorsement required. Must be at least 25 years old. Minimum 2 years professional driving experience required. Ability to pass background check, drug/alcohol screening and DOT physical. Strong communication and customer service skills; calm, professional demeanor. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
