Fleet Manager

Trinity Solar is seeking an experienced and strategic Fleet Manager to oversee and optimize a multi-state fleet operation of approximately 500 vehicles. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective fleet operations across multiple service locations while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage fleet operations across nine states and multiple service locationsOversee a diverse fleet of light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehiclesDevelop and enhance preventative maintenance programs to maximize vehicle reliability and lifecycle performanceAnalyze fleet utilization, downtime, and replacement cycles to support strategic planning and cost managementEnsure compliance with all DOT, safety, licensing, and regulatory requirementsManage vendor partnerships, including repair providers, leasing partners, and fuel program administratorsOversee budgeting, cost control, and financial performance related to fleet operationsDirect accident response processes, claims coordination, and corrective action initiativesUtilize telematics and fleet management systems such as Samsara to improve safety and operational efficiencyLead vehicle procurement, upfitting, and disposal processesProvide leadership, coaching, and performance oversight to fleet personnel across multiple regionsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Automotive Technology, or related field preferredMinimum 5 years of progressive fleet management experience, ideally in a multi-location environmentExperience managing large-scale fleets of 300+ vehiclesStrong knowledge of DOT regulations, fleet maintenance practices, and lifecycle cost managementProven leadership, vendor management, and contract negotiation experienceProficiency with fleet management systems, telematics platforms, and Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsValid driver’s license requiredWhat We’re Looking ForThe ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with strong operational and financial acumen who can effectively manage complex fleet operations while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
