Shift: Various shifts available 1st Processing Live Room (Slaughter)-Prepare birds to present to to rabbinical staff for slaughter. Aids in blood removal, hang birds for further processing, removal of feathers Chicken/Turkey Evisceration-Prepares birds for further processing by removing excessive feathers with scissors. Stands with Rabbi to monitor birds. Removes damaged parts for salvage Second Processing Chicken/Turkey Boning-Makes cuts to breast, legs and thighs to achieve deboning of the product Ice Pack & Chill Pack- Pack boxes with finished product, lift finished boxes and stack onto skids Cyrovac- Processes and packages whole birds Linco- packages fresh cut up product Base Pay Rate: $15.95 Base Pay Per hour Bid jobs and prorated jobs earn more Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Following health and safety standards Following production guidelines and specifications Following Kosher standards and procedures Working in a fast paced atmosphere, wet, damp, and slippery surfaces Assist in lifting, carrying, and moving heavy loads as required up to 50 lbs Standing for long periods of time Flexibility to changing duties, rotations, and product requirements Repetitive use of hands while using knives, scissors, and other related equipment Education & Experience: High school or equivalent No experience required Candidate Requirements: Must be 18 years or older Legal to work in the US Benefits to joining our team: Great Benefits for full time – medical, dental, vision, life, short term disability, pension, paid time off, vacation and holiday pay Advancement Opportunities– Our company is always looking for key players motivated to move up to higher level roles.
