You will be close to where development decisions happen, contributing a quality perspective from planning through release. You will also help build out our automated testing framework, establishing coverage across functional workflows, API behavior, and system performance that can grow with the product. This role reports to the Director, Quality Assurance, working closely with our product engineering teams on a daily basis.\nA DAY IN THE LIFE:\nParticipate in sprint ceremonies as a quality champion, raising testability concerns early, contributing to acceptance criteria, and ensuring the team is thinking about how features will be validated before they're built\nCollaborate with Product and Engineering to understand what is changing, what it affects, and what could break and define QA requirements early in the product lifecycle\nDesign and execute test plans and scripts across functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and performance areas\nTest Nautobot features and functionality, documenting findings clearly, and adding automated coverage where gaps exist\nEvaluate and document release readiness and identify and communicate risk\nDevelop and maintain automated tests and frameworks covering real user workflows and behavioral assertions\nWHAT YOU BRING:\nA genuine quality mindset. You notice what's wrong before anyone tells you to look for it\nCuriosity about how things can and do break, not just whether they pass\nThe confidence to raise concerns, communicate risk, and make the case for quality clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders\nCollaborative instincts. You build trust with the people whose work you test\nDirectness. Clear bug reports, honest risk assessments, no hedging\nWHAT YOU HAVE:\n3+ years in software quality engineering or test automation\nFamiliarity with Python at a working level.
