We pride ourselves on being an innovative leader in the lumber industry and seek to add only the best to our growing team.Positions AvailableDebarker OperatorEdger and Resaw OperatorStacker OperatorLog Cut-up OperatorPlaner OperatorOptimizer / Trimmer OperatorDry Kiln OperatorJob ResponsibilitiesPromoting a safe work environment by keeping the work area clean and organizedLearning and performing multiple operator functions within the facilityCross training on production equipment and mobile equipment to provide coverage for vacancies, absences, etc.Learning to apply work processes and understand how they lead to increase productivity while reducing the waste of unusable products.RequirementsHigh school diploma or GEDAt least (2) years of experience operating industrial or manufacturing equipmentMust be willing and able to work any shift, holidays, weekends and overtime if necessaryMust be willing to work in a hot, humid, cold and loud industrial environmentMust be willing and able to lift material up to 50 lbs. routinelyWilling and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing for up to (12) hours per dayCompletely and accurately fill out daily paperworkFollow all Safety Programs, Policies and ProceduresMust be willing and able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) (i.e. hard hats safety glasses, steel-toed boots ear plugs and any other PPE that is required that may be job specific)Must have valid driver's licenseAble to pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug tests after hiringBenefitsCompetitive hourly payFull health benefits including medical and dental insurance401(K) retirement plan, with company contributionsFlexible dates for paid time offSoutheast Forest Products is an equal opportunity employer.
