Cashier/Barista/Server

Double Shot Coffee Bar in the Sienna Ridge Shopping Center is looking for enthusiastic applicants who are friendly and outgoing. We are "the" neighborhood coffee shop in El Dorado Hills area looking for a coffee enthusiast. The employee will be a fast-learner, and detail-oriented individual, who can work independently. Time management and prioritization skills are required. Applicants must have flexible schedules and be open to learning our drink set up and willing to commit to 3-5 shifts per week. A six-month to one-year minimum commitment is preferred. Weekday mornings are required as well as weekends. One year + of specialty coffee Barista experience is preferred. Latte art skills are a big bonus! We are looking to be an award winning local coffee & tea establishment that provides an excellent coffee bar experience. Responsibilities of Coffee Team Members: Being a team player capable of communicating well and working in a small space High standard of customer service; positive demeanor with special care Must be able to work weekends Opening and closing duties Working within cafe guidelines and our espresso recipe Espresso bar etiquette - keeping the bar clean and organized Open to learning and practicing latte art once on bar Multi-tasking Be punctual for shift arrival and follow café dress code and etiquette Quickly learn recipes and preparation of our specialty drinks Maintain cleaning protocols in cafe (espresso machine, dishes, sweeping). Qualified applicants will possess: A current food handler’s card Cash handling skills required Minimum high school diploma or GED Hours: 3-5 shifts per week with growth potential Pay rate: $17- $18 starting + tips (DOE) Please respond with a resume and why you want to work in a coffee shop.
