production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution.\n* Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.\n* Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.\n* Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.\n* Maintains in-process inventory by delivering and opening materials and supplies.\n* Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.\n* Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off material holders.\n* Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.\n* Open containers, sort, and catalog materials.\n* Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.\n* Follow 6s Lean Manufacturing principles\n\n*Knowledge, Skills & Abilities*\n\n* Certification in forklift operation preferred\n* Knowledge of operating other warehouse machinery\n* Data entry, math and computer skills\n* Physically fit with the ability to lift objects weighing between 50-100 pounds\n* Effective leadership and team management skills\n* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills\n* Excellent time management and organizational skills\n* Ability to work with a team\n* Written and verbal communication skills\n* High school diploma, GED or 2+ years of experience\n* Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen\n\nJob Type:
