Job Title : HR ConsultantDepartment : Human ResourcesEmployment Type : Full-TimeLocation : Fully Remote - DFW - with onsite client work at times (not often)Position SummaryThe HR Consultant serves as the primary contact for our clients, providing a blend of daily HR support and HR Strategic Planning. This position requires proven and extensive knowledge of HR rules and regulations, the ability to handle deadlines, communicate with clients and their employees, promote best HR practices, and assist with general HR needs that arise. In some cases, the HR Consultant may be assigned an HR Generalist to fulfill higher amounts of HR Administration duties (based on the client and their agreement).The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Administer compensation and benefit plansAssist in talent acquisition and recruitment processesProcess client payrolls for applicable clients.Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiativesProvide support to employees in various HR-related topics, such as leaves and compensation, and resolve any issues that may arisePromote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace for our clients.Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policiesUndertake tasks around performance management, including creating Performance Management plans and implementing them with clients.Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover ratesOrganize quarterly and annual employee performance reviewsMaintain employee files and records in electronic and paper formEnhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organizing team building activitiesMeet with clients for check-in calls/emails to discuss HR Department projects, standings, results, and questions.Take a proactive approach to all HR, Payroll, and Recruitment needs for all clientsExemplify the Gro HR Core Values daily in everything that you do.Ensure compliance with labor regulationsAssist business owners and managers in HR Strategic Planning, and other HR preventative initiatives.Log and track all projects and client initiatives with Accelo, tracking time accurately for all client work completed and/or planned.Present/Manage Client Learning and Development needs, including Compliance related trainings.Perform necessary audits for clients, such as payroll, SIT/SUI, wage, benefit, and I-9.Perform related duties as assigned by supervisorMaintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresOccasionally visit a client on-site, if required for the clientOther duties as assignedSkills and Abilities:Teamwork — Effectively collaborate with coworkers in a team-oriented environmentInterpersonal Relationships — Establish and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with othersTime Management — Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks, managing one's own time and the time of othersWritten Comprehension & Expression — The ability to read and communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understandOral Comprehension, Expression & Clarity — The ability to listen, understand and communicate information and ideas audibly so others will understandOrganization, Planning, and Prioritizing Work – the ability to prioritize, delegate, and adapt multiple tasks simultaneouslyAttention to Detail —Thorough and accurate when performing tasks and following Company processes and proceduresProfessionalism — Adherence to courtesy, consideration, honesty, and responsibility when dealing with coworkers and ClientsQualifications:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customersExcellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)5+ Years in an HR Generalist role, or proven HR knowledge and experience.Current SHRM-CP or PHR certification, or the ability to complete within 6 months of hire.Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer serviceAbility to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practicesBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or an applicable field required.Physical Requirements:Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standardsMust be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbsMust be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephoneMust be able to sit for 6+ hours per day, while working on the computerMust be able to type at 60+ wpm and with proper English language and spelling#J-18808-Ljbffr
