Distribution Supervisor
Requisition ID: 19724 Remote Work Available: No Job Title: Distribution Supervisor Reports to: Distribution Manager Department: Supply Chain FLSA Status: Exempt Key Responsibilities Work with manager to interview & hire distribution associates Provide feedback and leadership to distribution associates; track distribution associates attendance & point system Work directly with other facility leaders to ensure all company policies are followed Work with direct manager on design & implementation of new processes to improve department efficiency Facilitate & monitor the movement (both physically & electronically) of: All incoming medicated & non-medicated items; All outgoing items for both internal distribution & wholesale clients Communicate with inventory supervisor, manufacturing, and sales teams regarding any customer or product concerns or items requiring follow-up. Use MJ Freeway & SAP to create packages and conversions needed for sale Maintain compliance on all incoming & outgoing items through MJ Freeway & SAP Create and maintain reporting tools as required for distribution Create manifests for all outgoing products on both internal transfer & wholesale orders with all compliance relevant information Packaging orders that are coordinated from sales department Compliance paperwork for orders for MJ Freeway & SAP (manifests, invoices, COA, etc.) Send customers manifest & invoices via email Coordinate with couriers to schedule pickups Assist in management of local inventory responsibilities, carried out by the manager Work with associate to assist on inventory/ audit tasks Issue supplies from warehouse to departments as needed Production mylars/jars/packaging materials Inform manager of supply needs for order / order supplies Conduct cycle counts weekly (finished/packaged goods) Operate a forklift Other duties as assigned by manager Other duties as assigned by manager Qualifications Excellent verbal communications and customer service skills Experience with Microsoft suite Possession of, or ability to obtain, forklift certification as required by the state, the union, and/or OSHA Willingness to go above and beyond for our customers and for the team. Must have a flexible schedule and be able to adapt on short notice based on customer needs – long shifts and some weekends may be required. Ability to successfully handle high stress situations. Able to work in a team and independently. Able to work in a fast-moving environment. Self-driven with strong organizational skills; attention to detail. Ability to communicate through various formats including phone and email. Must have reliable transportation Additional Minimum Qualifications Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV) Minimum of a High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent Must be legally qualified to work in the US Education Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent is required.
