The Material Handler is responsible for accurately moving, locating, and storing materials using a forklift or other powered equipment. The ideal candidate is a team player and has previous warehouse/manufacturing experience.\n\nKey Results Areas\nSafe & efficient operation of all the power-operated equipment that requires certification\nAccurately pick and pack items for shipment, potentially with a forklift\nComplete required paperwork and project time-tracking documentation\nEnsure all items not needed short term are restocked according to established procedures\nAssist with contacting freight couriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries\nLabel and prepare items for shipment and load and unload trucks as needed\nUpdate the Warehouse Management system with transactions\nPerform daily safety checklist and standard battery charging procedures\nAssist team members in meeting and exceeding customer expectations\nUpdate supervisor and team lead on issues or concerns\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area\n\nSkills & Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED or three years of relevant warehouse experience required\nPrevious warehouse or manufacturing experience is required\nCurrent forklift certification or the ability to become certified within 30 days required\nMust be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions\nStrong attention to detail\nAble to lift up to 40 pounds alone and greater weights in a team-lift environment\nCapable of lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods\nAble to climb ladders as needed\n\nXPDEL, Inc. is committed to an inclusive workplace that does not discriminate against race, nationality, religion, age, marital status, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender, or gender identity.
