This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day while developing valuable skills in patient care and support.\nResponsibilities\nAssist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident’s \nMonitor and document residents’ vital signs, health status, and behavioral changes to ensure safety and well-being\nSupport medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans developed by healthcare professionals\nPrepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning, cooking, and cleaning to promote healthy living\nConduct patient observation to identify needs or concerns promptly and communicate effectively with healthcare teams\nEngage residents in social activities, recreational programs, or community outings to foster social interaction and independence\nMaintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties aligned with health standards for home & community care settings\nExperience\nPrior experience working in group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred\nHands-on experience with patient monitoring, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, or memory care is highly valued\nKnowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism enhances your ability to provide tailored support\nCertification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus\nExperience with medication administration, care plans development, and patient observation is essential for success in this role\nDemonstrated ability to lift heavy objects safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts and perform physical tasks required for resident assistance\nBackground in social work or nursing enhances understanding of holistic patient care approaches\nJoin us to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve!
