{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"2ff7e1ce221883d10690b4df","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2ff7e1ce221883d10690b4df","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2ff7e1ce221883d10690b4df","title":"Process Engineer","description":"Description:\nThe Process Engineer is directly responsible for the overall technical aspects of vacuum brazing, assembly, and prep.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nOverall responsibility for process development and production.\nInitial contact with customers from inquiry through to delivery requiring technical assistance with repair development and new products/processes.\nIdentify and implement productivity cost savings using LEAN techniques.\nFirst level Contract Review approval.\nResponsible for overall operation of the technical aspects of projects.\nOffer input on work orders.\nEnsure all process documentation is clear, accurate and up to date.\nCo-ordinate with outside vendors and suppliers on necessary fixtures, components and work scopes.\nCollaborate with customers, internal departments, and support staff to accomplish both team and company goals.\nPerforms similar or related work as required, directed or as situation dictates and shall exercise any additional powers that are or may be legally conferred upon the position by the Plant Manager or President.\n\nOther duties and responsibilities as assigned.\n\nRequirements:\n\nQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED/PREFERRED SKILLS:\nDegree in engineering or relevant field supplemented by a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in experience in Heat Treating, Brazing Operation or Manufacturing environment.
