The Ironworker will be a part of our mobile crew, who work at various project locations. Per Diem is paid in addition to hourly wage.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nAssembles, installs, and dismantles steel structures, conveyors, and processing equipment, machinery, bracing and rigging equipment using various hand tools.\nRaises, places, and connects iron or steel girders, columns, and other structural materials to form completed structures or structural frameworks.\nMove machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks; selecting appropriate method and tools according to weight/size of load.\nInspect completed work to ensure compliance with established customer standards or required specifications and guidelines, and in support of our company quality standards.\nWeld and fabricate parts, materials, and structures.\nOperate heavy equipment; operate and work from a man lift.\nMay direct workers engaged in hoisting of machinery and equipment, using signals for crane operation.\nRead blueprints and schematic drawings.\nCoordinate installation and work efforts with management and complete work according to prepared schedules.\nInitiate and maintain good housekeeping practices in all work areas.\nWork Safety into daily routine, lead by example, exhibit an emphasis on completing all tasks in a safe manner, and participate in Visible Felt Leadership (VFL).\nComplies with all MSHA, OSHA, company and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\nTravels as required.\nREQUIREMENTS\nMinimum 3 years' relevant experience as an ironworker.\nExperience with welding preferred.\nAble to read blueprint and schematic drawings to determine work procedures and visualize how they would look as assembled equipment.\nKnows hand signals for crane operation.\nAbility to work at heights.\nKnowledge of MSHA and OSHA regulations.\nHigh awareness of Safety at all times, constant awareness of others' safety as well as your own.\nAgree to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the company.\nAbility to work in special environments, special shift hours, and/or mandatory overtime.\nMust be able and willing to travel.\nSuccessfully pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, motor vehicle records check, and physical/occupational screenings.\nTurnkey Processing Solutions offers employees and their families a comprehensive benefit package to ensure their personal and family’s overall health and wellness needs are met.
