The Lead Software Engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment with business goals while maintaining a strong focus on code quality, performance, and timely delivery.\nResponsibilities\nProject Delivery:\nLead the planning and execution of software projects, coordinating team efforts to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality features.\nActively contribute to coding and development tasks, demonstrating technical expertise and a hands-on approach.\nConduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge sharing within the team.\nTechnical Leadership:\nProvide hands-on technical guidance to the engineering team, including mentoring, code reviews, and enforcing development best practices.\nSet a high standard for code quality, reliability, and maintainability.\nFoster a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and technical excellence.\nStakeholder Collaboration:\nPartner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.\nClearly articulate technical challenges, trade-offs, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nFacilitate cross-functional coordination and knowledge sharing to enhance team effectiveness.\nOperational Excellence:\nEnsure the reliability, security, and observability of production systems through robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices.\nLead efforts to reduce technical debt and improve deployment, testing, and automation workflows.\nSupport continuous improvement through post-incident reviews and performance tuning.\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.\n5+ years of experience in software engineering.\nSuccessful track record of delivering programs on scope, on time, on budget, and with quality.\nStrong proficiency in programming languages such as C# (.NET), T-SQL and Python.\nExperience with agile development methodologies and project management tools.\nExcellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills.\nExperience with managing multiple concurrent projects.\nExperience with Webservices, WCF, MVC, and Entity Framework.\nPay Transparency The annual salary/hourly rate range has been established based on the role, experience, skill set, and location. The exact starting salary/hourly rate within the range will depend on the role and the local market. This position may be eligible to participate in one of the Company’s incentive plans. The amount of any incentive payment varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
