Follows standard project management industry practices such as the PMI framework.\nJob Description:\nOnly local candidates will be considered for this position.\nOVERVIEW\nMinimum five years or more project management experience.\nCapable of managing a technical, software, and/or data and reporting-centric IT projects with 10 or more staff and/or a project with multiple subprojects.\nPOSITION DESCRIPTION\nDesigns, plans, and coordinates IT work teams.\nFollows standard project management industry practices such as the PMI's framework.\nUnderstands business and technical objectives of a project and works closely with project sponsor.\nCreates project kickoff, progress and close-out reports, and tracks budget and schedule progress via appropriate metrics.\nEstablishes project organization and methodologies and defines roles and responsibilities.\nDocuments risks and develops mitigation plans. Manages scope. Creates and implements a communication plan as/where appropriate.\nBuilds an effective team inclusive of the right IT technical and business-facing subject matter experts and user testers.\nAssigns tasks to team members, and evaluates outcomes.\nCommunicates to stakeholders and project sponsor. Identifies, tracks, and ensures resolution of issues and removal of barriers.\nProvides technical support to project team members. Handles complex application features and technical designs.\nDesigns and implements the components required for complex application features. Generally manages a group of applications systems analysts.\nRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.\nExecutive presence.
