We believe that our differences enable us to be a better team – one that makes better decisions, drives innovation and delivers better business results.\n\nOpportunity Overview\n\nThe Teradyne Field Applications team is looking for a highly motivated, energetic and driven Field Application Engineer in SLT (System Level Testing), who will work collaboratively with the team as well as independently to determine and develop imaginative, thorough, and practical application solutions.\n\nDevelop, debug and deployment of test solutions on SLT for Digital, High-Speed Digital, System on Chip, Mixed Signal and Analog semiconductor devices in system.\nDevelop knowledge and expertise on SLT system integration.\nTest program software development, often done in collaborative environment\nAnalyze problems and recommend solutions on Teradyne SLT platform to optimize customer throughput\nAble to work with test engineering customers to understand and improve test processes.\nMaking recommendations to improve quality of test coverage.\nDiscovery of customer requirements with focus on: a) Conceptual design of hardware, software and test cell integration. b) Electrical and mechanical H/W schematics. c) PCB & H/W design inputs and requirements for interface hardware\nDevelop new techniques and designs for characterizing and testing semiconductor devices\nDemonstrate tester capability for customer evaluations\nAssist customers on tester operation and capability\nProvide training, technical exchanges and technical papers\nDevelop strong customer relations at a technical level, to gain further insight to direction and needs of the customer.\nGeneral understanding of SLT industry trends as well as competitive products and product positioning will be a plus.\n\nAll About You\n\nWe seek individuals who share our passion and determination. If you’re ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position.\n\nBachelor or higher degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering or related fields\n5-8 years of experience of semiconductor testing Industry and hands on experience on IC component testing project development\nMust have experience in SLT, functional testing, and debug at the system level.\nMust have development experience on Teradyne or other semiconductor SLT platforms.\nIt is a plus to have ATE (Automated Test Equipment) Test / Product engineering experience in Digital, High-Speed Digital, High-Power Computing, System on Chip, Mixed Signal, or Analog IC chip testing\nIt is a plus to have development experience on Teradyne or other semiconductor ATE platforms, such as, Teradyne UltraFlex / UltraFlexPlus / IG-XL, Eagle Test Systems / EV / EV-MST, Advantest V93K / SmarTest 7 / SmarTest 8, or other test equipment\nStrong understanding of general software programming (preferred .NET – C#, VB, and/or C++, C, Java) and common algorithms\nProficient in Windows and Excel\nKnowledge on handler and prober interface experience will be a plus\nPossess team skills and has ability to work independently as well\nStrong analytical skills and practical problem solving skills\nSolid presentation skills\nStrong proven interpersonal skills and commitment to teamwork and “can-do” spirit\nOutstanding written and verbal communication skills in both English and native language\nProven technical record\nDemonstrate strong interpersonal and relationships-building skills\nSupervisory experience in leading teams (locally and globally) with past experience in employee management may qualify for senior position\nAbility to travel 25% or more, domestic and international.\nMust be able to carry auto liability or minimum insurance due to automotive responsibilities\n\nCompensation:\nThe base salary range for this role is $139,400 to 223,100. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set.
