If you want to grow your career in a progressive, team-oriented environment, apply today.\nAbout the Job:\nThe Maintenance Shop Mechanic is responsible for the performance of the following duties in a safe and productive manner.\nResponsibilities:\nJob Duties (Not Limited to):\nPerform the Oilers duties, daily lubrication tasks on all mobile equipment\nPerform regularly scheduled PM services and have knowledge of any and all current lubricants being used\nComplete preventive maintenance inspections of mobile and fixed equipment\nMaintain service equipment such as service trucks, fuel pumps, lubricant systems and other equipment needed to perform required duties\nRepair, rebuild and maintain equipment such as loaders, trucks, cranes, motor graders bulldozers, pumps, conveyors, jaw and cone crushers\nDismantle and reassemble mobile, fixed and crushing equipment with some supervision\nExamine parts for damage or excessive wear, using micrometers and gauges\nPerform troubleshooting and adjustments to all hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical (24V) equipment, mobile and fixed\nReplace defective engines and subassemblies, such as transmissions. Tests overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency\nWeld together metal components as specified by layout, blueprint, work order or oral instruction\nWeld in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead position\nCut metal plate or structural shapes, hard surface and air arcs\nCreate work orders and job requests when necessary\nMaintain a clean and citation-free mine site environment\nPerform daily workplace and equipment safety inspections\nPreferred Background/Education:\nA high school diploma or equivalent\nA vocational-technical college degree\n1-3 years’ experience in equipment maintenance\nBasic computer knowledge\nRequired Qualifications & Skills:\nPhysical Requirements\nFollow all procedures and safety measures to assure safe production\nWork in all conditions and environments, approximately 80% of job is outdoors\nAble to lift 65 lbs. on an occasional basis\nAble to walk up and down slopes and uneven ground daily\nWorkplace Requirements\nWork as a team member and communicate openly with others\nSelf-directed and able to take leadership role on many projects\nWilling to stop work for safety concerns and always abide by safety best practices, policies and procedures\nRotation of work assignments to maintain training\nRespirator use is required\n5-5-4 Rotational Shift Schedule\nAdditional Information: Willing to work alternating between 5 work days, 5 days off, 4 night shifts, and 5 more days off.\nIt is the policy of Coeur Mining, Inc. and its direct and indirect United States subsidiaries (the “Company”) to provide equal opportunity employment to all Employees and applicants for employment.
