Together, we advance your career.\nResponsibilities:\n\nTHE ROLE:\nJoin AMD’s Strategy and Partnerships team as a Senior Analyst and play a key role in developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive AMD’s growth in emerging technologies, markets, and ecosystems. This high-impact position focuses on building and assessing partnerships across enterprises, verticals, and ecosystems—including vendor evaluations, market assessments, business model analysis, and competitive intelligence. You will collaborate cross-functionally to create frameworks, develop business cases, establish KPIs for partnerships, and support ecosystem development as AMD invests in and enters new areas like AI, data center, and beyond. Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy & Partnerships, you will influence senior stakeholders, lead partner engagements, and deliver actionable recommendations to shape AMD’s long-term strategy.\n\nThe Person:\nThe ideal candidate is a highly motivated, results-driven professional with exceptional financial modeling skills. They thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, possess strong communication and collaboration abilities, and stay ahead of industry trends and technology.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDevelop and implement strategic frameworks, conduct vendor, market, and business model assessments to evaluate and recommend partnerships.\nPerform competitive analysis and monitor emerging technologies, markets, and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks for AMD.\nBuild business cases, financial models, and strategic recommendations to support partnership decisions and ecosystem initiatives.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and business units to execute projects, gather voice-of-the-customer insights, and drive strategic outcomes.\nLead partner and client engagements, ensuring seamless experiences, value delivery, and strong relationship management.\nEstablish and track KPIs for emerging partnerships and ecosystem programs to measure success and inform ongoing strategy.\nPrepare and present analyses, insights, and updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.\n\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\nRelevant experience in strategy, partnerships, or related fields (technical/analytical focus required).\nExperience developing and implementing financial models, competitive assessments, market/technology analysis, and new market entry strategies.\nPrior experience in research, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate strategy preferred.\nStrong knowledge of technology markets, corporate strategy principles, vendor/partner ecosystems, and emerging tech (semiconductors, AI, hardware, or related high-growth areas preferred).\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.\nOutstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; proven ability to influence without authority and support cross-functional decision-making.\nProactive, detail-oriented self-starter with a passion for technology and innovation.\n\nAcademic Credentials:\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.\n\nLocation:\nSanta Clara, CA or San Jose, CA\n\nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\n\n#LI-SD1\n#LI-Hybrid\nQualifications:\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\n\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
