Job DescriptionACCOUNTS RECEIVABLESEXPERIENCE NEEDED (Accounts Receivables)Distribution/Wholesale Experience PreferredAt Market Source Restaurant Supply, we are a family-owned business since 1986 that values our employees and has low turnover. We sell restaurant equipment and supplies wholesale as a distributor and we also do full design projects for any commercial kitchen. We value dependability, integrity, and honesty above all else and require these qualities especially in our accounting staff. We will require references who can validate your previous experience.In this position, the candidate would be responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support by ensuring the company receives payments for goods and services. Also, this position calls for properly recording the transactions by posting receipts, verifying transactions, and resolving discrepancies according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.We are looking for someone who can do the following:Ability to enter deposits into the system and decipher which type and what account to apply it to Ability to multi-task, pay attention to details and honor deadlinesAbility to stop and re-direct to handle more pressing needs, then return to what you were working onAbility to train and recall information: listen, to perform the task and then be independentAbility to be flexible and patient as the learning curve can be high in wholesale distributionBENEFITS**Full time position – 8 hours per day plus required lunch break (8am-5pm, Monday - Friday)Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance offered with employer-paid contributionVision InsuranceSimple IRA with up to 3% Employer Matching (after 1st year)Paid time Off for sick, mental health or vacationHoliday PayQualification requirements:Must have a commute less than 30 minutes3+ years specifically accounts receivablesDistribution experience preferredAssociates Degree preferredTwo work references - non-family members & can be contactedCustomer service and negotiation skillsQualities - Team player, sense of humor, integrity, honesty, confidentiality, accuracy/detail and stress management abilityProven to be trustworthyKnowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirementsAbility to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial recordsStrong Excel and Microsoft Outlook skillsAbility to learn accounting software system – computer literateExcellent data entry skillsDemonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines under pressurePhysical demands and abilities:Ability to sit and work on computer spreadsheets and projects for long periods of timeMeet deadlinesEnjoy repetition in workOccasionally lift 5-10 poundsCompany DescriptionLooking for a position in a solid company?
