What you may not have is a firm that staffs your cases properly, keeps your file volume workable, and gives you room to grow into new work.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nThis is a full time, fully remote attorney position representing claimants in Social Security Disability matters, with the opportunity to expand into ERISA long term disability insurance litigation. You will manage your own caseload from initial filing through hearing, and, if you want it, take on pre suit ERISA claims, administrative appeals, and federal court filings.\n\nWe represent people with disabilities and their survivors in pursuing the benefits they are entitled to receive. Our attorneys are supported by trained legal staff, and we invest in the technology and case management infrastructure that keeps you focused on advocacy rather than administration.\n\nIf that is the kind of practice you want, we would like to hear from you.\n\nWhat You Will Do\n\nPersonally manage a caseload of Social Security Disability Insurance claims, including initial applications, reconsiderations, appeals, and ALJ hearings.\n\nHandle ERISA disability insurance matters, including pre suit claims, administrative appeals, and federal court filings, with training and support if this is new to you.\n\nEvaluate medical records, work history, and vocational evidence to identify the proof needed and build the strongest available argument.\n\nMaintain direct, responsive, and empathetic communication with clients by phone, email, and mail throughout the life of the case.\n\nDraft appeals, briefs, and case related documents that hold up on review.\n\nWork with treating providers and expert witnesses to strengthen the record.\n\nSupervise and train legal support staff as needed.\n\nStay current on applicable law, regulations, and rulings.\n\nWhat You Bring\n\nJuris Doctor and active bar admission in at least one state.\n\nEnough Social Security Disability experience to have personally handled at least 100 hearings.\n\nStrong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.\n\nGenuine commitment to clients navigating life altering disability.\n\nERISA disability experience is a plus but not required.\n\nCompensation\n\nBase salary of $95,000 to $130,000 depending on experience, plus incentive compensation.\n\n#Enghp\n\nBenefits\n\n401(k) with employer match\nProfit sharing plan\nHealth insurance\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\nLife insurance\nPaid time off\nFully remote work\n\n- For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
