Staff Accountant

Now Hiring: Staff Accountant | Near North Bergen, NJ We’re partnering with a growing organization near North Bergen that’s expanding its finance team and looking for a driven Staff Accountant ready to make an impact. This is more than a traditional accounting role — you’ll gain exposure to both the operational and strategic side of the business, working cross-functionally with leadership and key stakeholders. What You’ll Be Doing: Own fixed asset capitalization, depreciation & reporting Reconcile daily bank activity + general ledger accounts Play a key role in month-end close (JEs, account analysis) Support external audit requests Drive process improvements — including leveraging technology & AI Contribute to special projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 3+ years of accounting experience Strong GAAP knowledge Advanced Excel skills Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail Clear communicator who thrives in a team setting If you’re looking to join a mission-driven healthcare organization where you’ll have visibility, ownership, and room to grow — let’s connect.
