Works independently on difficult assignments that are broad in nature requiring originality and ingenuity with some latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions.\r\nEssential Functions\r\nCodes and documents software programs in accordance with design specifications.\r\nProvides guidance to application developers.\r\nCreates unit and integration test plans.\r\nPerforms unit and integration testing.\r\nParticipates in peer code reviews.\r\nSupports application deployment.\r\nUnderstands IS Security measures and current standards, practices and technology.\r\nAdditional Functions\r\nProactively identifies opportunities to improve existing methodologies, processes or other areas of application delivery performance.\r\nProactively communicates issues and status as required.\r\nMay contribute to software design development.\r\nPerform other duties as assigned.\r\nOther Requirements\r\nExperience with software development methodologies, the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and best practices.\r\nIT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) exposure is desired.\r\nExperience working in teams.\r\nProficiency with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE).\r\nProficiency with MS Office.\r\nExercises problem solving and creativity when developing code, to create efficient, reusable software, which results in minimal maintenance.\r\nBasic communications (oral and written and interpersonal) skills.
