Working with the project team, in daily administrative management and documentation of the construction project. Responsibilities include mentoring and training other Project Assistants, reviewing and tracking submittals, requesting supplemental design information, updating design documents, as well as gathering, tracking and managing sub tier project costs.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nAdminister client contracts, and other job initiation paperwork\nResponsible for field and project engineering, quality control, contract administration, shop drawing review, submittals, scheduling, and related support functions.\nChange order management – administrating, pricing, submission and tracking.\nAssist Project Superintendent and Project Manager in establishing the construction plan and engineering methods.\nCoach and mentor project assistants.\nAssist with equipment selection and rental coordination.\nMaterial procurement and expediting.\nCoordinate and review drawings, submissions, specifications, changes and document control.\nAssist with the preparation and maintenance of the project schedule and costing system.\nPrepare and track progress payments and estimates.\nSubcontract administration – defining scope of work, answering inquiries, monitoring progress, tracking and processing payments.\nDesigning temporary works and inspection. Inventory control – monitoring and tracking of equipment and resources.\nParticipate in Bid/RFP process\nConduct complete and accurate quantity take-offs; ensure correct materials and quantities arrive in a timely manner\nPrepare and distribute accurate meeting minutes\nAssemble close-out information including as-builts, warranties, etc.\nSupport Project Superintendents with updating and/or distributing paperwork and information\nPrepare electronic and paper job close out information for clients\nEnsure all permits are valid, on site and posted.\nManage the QA/QC process and closeout\nPrepare letter of transmittal, log and monitor to expedite and trace progress.\nPrepare notification of subcontractor pre-qualification results for project manager; perform required follow up with subcontractors.\nPROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP\nDemonstrates a commitment to achieving results\nModels the Company’s values, culture, and goals\nEstablishes clear and measurable performance objectives; motivates others\nHolds themselves and others accountable to deliver results\nHigh attention to detail\nPitches in without being asked when and where needed\nREQUIREMENTS\n2+ years progressive project responsibility is required.\nA Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or an Engineering discipline.\nCandidates who have demonstrated independent work experience on commercial projects up to $15 million are preferred.\nDemonstrated leadership, communication and interpersonal skills are a must.\nExperience with Procore & Dexter & Chaney Spectrum v14 a plus\nProficiency in MS Office, Auto-CAD, REVIT, Sketch-Up and OnScreenTake-Off knowledge a plus\nOther specialized experience or accreditations preferred, e.g. MEP or LEED\nExcellent written, verbal and other interpersonal communication skills - communication is a large part of what we do\nA positive attitude and ability to work well with others – we like to have fun\nAdaptable – you work well under pressure and adapt quickly to different situations / work environments\nWillingness to learn and openness to new ideas.\nAbility to multi-task and maintain a professional demeanor with distractions and interruptions\nThis job description is provided as a guideline for prospective employees, current employees, and employer.
