Applicants should be eager to lead, do things right, be accountable, have ownership in what they do, and be able to create smiles and stories for our fans.\r\nJob Functions\r\nBe an ambassador of the Dairy Queen brand and be professional in every aspect of performance\r\nBring to life fans' imagination through the art of cake decorating\r\nAssemble and prepare soft serve and Blizzard cakes, including decorating with icing, gel, drawings, decorating kits, air brush, edible images, and letterings\r\nEnthusiastically greet and welcome fans to the Dairy Queen brand\r\nStrive to exceed fan expectations and deliver fan first service through timely and quality service\r\nQuickly and accurately prepare food products following restaurant, health, and safety standards\r\nAnswer fan questions about product ingredients and preparation\r\nCalmly solve fan concerns and embrace Dairy Queen's service recovery standards\r\nBe a willing team player and maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship with management and fellow team members\r\nCreate and maintain a positive, safe, clean, and inviting environment for fans and team members\r\nAt all times exhibit a genuine passion for excellence\r\nPerform other duties as assigned by management\r\nRequirements\r\nCommunicate positively with fans and co-workers constantly during shifts\r\nCompetent and proficient with cake decorating tools\r\nCake decorator's certificate and/or previous cake decorating work\r\nPractice established food handling procedures and meet any local health regulations\r\nExhibit good manners, proper personal hygiene, and promptness\r\nHave fun and maintain a positive attitude at all times!\r\nDairy Queen (DQ) franchisees, employees and crew members have been focused on creating positive memories for all who touch DQ, for over 75 years.
