Our organization is focused on strategic growth, operational excellence, and long-term asset value creation.We are seeking an experienced Fractional Development Manager to support our expansion initiatives, strategic partnerships, business development efforts, and development pipeline management throughout Michigan and surrounding markets.This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned real estate professional who thrives in a flexible, high-impact leadership role and enjoys driving growth without the commitment of a full-time executive position.Position SummaryThe Fractional Development Manager will serve as a strategic growth partner to executive leadership, helping identify, evaluate, and advance construction, real estate development and acquisition opportunities. The ideal candidate brings strong industry relationships, development expertise, financial acumen, and a proven ability to move projects from concept through execution.This role may average up to 10–25 hours per week, depending on project flow and market activity.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and source new development, redevelopment, construction and acquisition opportunities throughout MichiganBuild and maintain relationships with brokers, investors, municipalities, developers, and strategic partnersAssist with market analysis, site selection, and project feasibility evaluationsSupport due diligence, entitlement, zoning, and permitting processesCollaborate with internal operations, finance, construction, and executive teamsPrepare development summaries, project reports, and investment presentationsAssist with capital partner relationships and investor communicationsMonitor local market trends, competitive developments, and economic conditionsSupport negotiations with vendors, consultants, municipalities, and stakeholdersProvide strategic recommendations regarding pipeline growth and expansion opportunitiesQualifications5+ years of experience in real estate development, acquisitions, asset management, or business developmentStrong understanding of commercial and/or multifamily real estate development processesExisting network within Michigan real estate, municipal, or investment communities preferredExperience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong financial analysis, negotiation, and communication skillsSelf-directed with the ability to work independently in a fractional capacityBachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Urban Planning, or related field preferredPreferred ExperienceMultifamily, mixed-use, retail, or hospitality development experienceFamiliarity with public-private partnerships and economic development incentivesExperience with institutional ownership groups or national property management organizationsBackground in growth strategy, partnerships, or market expansion initiativesCompensationCompetitive pay structure based on experienceFlexible schedule and remote work environmentOpportunity to contribute to large-scale national growth initiativesPotential for long-term advisory or expanded leadership opportunitiesFlexible work from home options available.
