About the Role PROMAN is seeking a seasoned SHE Manager to lead Safety, Health, and Environmental programs at a complex, high‑volume chemical manufacturing facility in Cleveland. This leader will drive compliance, strengthen safety culture, and support implementation of core programs such as PPE, LOTO, and machine safeguarding. This is a hands‑on, high‑visibility role supporting operations, engineering, and leadership teams. Key Responsibilities Lead implementation of SHE and management systems to ensure regulatory compliance Manage compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; conduct SHE inspections Prioritize and oversee safety and health investigations across diverse work areas Recommend engineering or process modifications to prevent injuries and illnesses Administer SHE programs aligned with OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14000 Develop and deliver training programs; act as internal training resource Review and interpret industrial hygiene sampling strategies and results Serve as internal SHE expert and consultant to leadership and operations Identify injury/illness trends and partner with teams to reduce risk Develop and implement SHE policies, procedures, and programs Provide input on engineering controls and facility design involving hazardous materials Lead or expand safety committees and employee engagement initiatives Prepare management reports on SHE investigations and evaluations Oversee hazardous and non‑hazardous waste management and minimization Act as SHE liaison with other company facilities Manage emergency situations and coordinate drills with local agencies Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Studies, Occupational Health, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field OSHA 30 certification (required) Experience in chemical manufacturing or high‑hazard industrial environments Strong working knowledge of Federal & State xywuqvp SH&E regulations Proficiency in OSHA Process Safety Management Experience with emergency response and incident command Strong problem‑solving, planning, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and within diverse teams Excellent communication skills; able to train all levels of the organization Ability to incorporate business risk and cost‑benefit analysis into decisions Preferred Attributes CSP certification Experience influencing cross‑functional teams Strong networking and resource‑leveraging skills Benefits Annual Short‑Term Incentive (based on company performance) Medical, dental, vision, and wellbeing coverage starting Day 1 Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays
