Ping Engineer

Description Hands‑on Ping Identity engineer supporting consumer and internal IAM platforms. Backfill role following conversion of a long‑term contractor to FTE. “Workhorse” role focused on execution, troubleshooting, and delivery, not theory. Long‑term contract potential (through year‑end, with possible multi‑year extension). Primary Responsibilities Implement and support SSO integrations using Ping Identity platforms. Build, enhance, and support authentication and registration flows using Ping DaVinci. Support production DaVinci flows post‑go‑live (consumer IAM live; broker/employer portals following). Troubleshoot and resolve IAM issues for application teams, including Ping APIs, federation issues, and authentication failures. Perform day‑to‑day IAM operational support alongside project‑based work. Partner with internal engineers on design discussions and conceptual IAM solutions. Support credential and certificate rotation, including automation efforts. Assist with platform enhancements and configuration changes. Operate with minimal ramp‑up; expected to be productive immediately. Required Technical Skills Hands‑on experience with Ping Identity platform, specifically PingFederate and Ping DaVinci (strongly preferred; required for ongoing support). Proven experience with application federation at scale; complex or multi‑application ecosystems preferred. Experience integrating Ping‑issued credentials with enterprise identity systems. Strong troubleshooting skills across SSO, APIs, and authentication flows. Experience with automation for client credential rotation and SSL certificate lifecycle management. Comfort working in production IAM environments. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in regulated industries (healthcare or financial services). Prior work supporting large IAM programs or long‑running IAM initiatives. Exposure to consumer IAM use cases (registration, authentication journeys). Ping Identity knowledge. Job Type & Location Contract position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00–$70.00 per hour.
