Shipping Clerk

The Shipping Clerk’s responsibilities include recording every detail of the order, from packing items into containers to labeling them. This role includes recording order details on the computer system, labeling package with vital information and monitoring inventory. The Shipping Clerk is accountable for ensuring that each package gets shipped correctly and timely to avoid missing deliveries or lost goods. The Shipping Clerk will work with the warehouse team to ensure items are labeled and packed correctly for shipping.
Additionally, the successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Nosler Inc is a federally regulated company that requires employees to have a clean background check and the ability to pass a drug screen including THC.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Obtain and process product orders
Carefully and professionally handle all customer orders
Neatly package and label each shipment in accordance with company standards
Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items
Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items
Keep files of goods shipped and received
Prepare regular shipping and receiving reports for managers
Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling
Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems
Adherence, at all times, to all safety requirements, temporary or permanent
Other duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required
Demonstrated work experience as a Shipping Clerk or similar role
Ability to lift items and containers with various weights and sizes – lift, move or maneuver up to 75lbs
Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch
Flexibility to work different hours throughout the week as needed
Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
A positive and yearning to learn and grow
Ability to work in a fast paced warehouse environment

COMPENSATION
Starting at $19-$ 23/hour (DOE)
HOURS
Bend, Monday – Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
