Wood Blending Maintenance Technician II
Hours: 6:45 PM to 7AM 2/2/3Pay Rate: Maintenance Technician II Starting Pay: $27.00Maintenance Technician III Starting Pay: $30.50Core Responsibilities Ensures production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times Assists in developing and prioritizing work orders with Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision and Line Leads. Completes work order requests as defined by Maintenance Manager, Productions Management/Supervision, and/or Operators. Supports workplace organization programs (6S) and production efficiency programs (TPM). Assists, coaches, and trains operators in daily preventative maintenance (CIL) checks Supports and assists preventative maintenance process on the shift Contributes and assists in line commissioning after maintenance/process events Assists and participates with other plant projects as needed Operates in a manner that provides value to the team Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/managementQualificationsExperience: 0 plus years of experience in role of Maintenance Tech IComputer Skills: Computer skills to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and OutlookProven experience in working unassisted with and troubleshooting: Electrical, Electronic, Motor Controller Drives, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic SystemsStrong background in manufacturing systems in dynamic fast-paced manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of extrusion process, twin screw setup, blending system a plusKnowledge of PLC Logic technology, a plusAbility to read electrical and mechanical drawings; Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionallyExcellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilitiesStrong mathematical skills; Success in planning, executing and managing projectsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upward and downward to a wide range of audiencesMust be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environmentEducation Requirements High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)Advanced education and/or related-certification(s), a plusCertifications & Licenses:Will meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech"s TrainingResources and Knowledge (TRAK) programCompletion of two year Maintenance Certification courseStick and wire welding experience required with structural welding certification, a plusForklift experience required with the ability to complete TT Forklift Certification program
