To find out more, visit https://www.zoodigital.com/\r\nPosition\r\nAbout The Role\r\nSalary: Up to $27.81/ hour (DOE)\r\nLocation: El Segundo, office-based\r\nContract: Temporary, part-time position working on an as-needed basis\r\nZOO Digital have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Audio Engineer to join our team based in El Segundo, CA on a temporary, part-time, on-call basis. This role is designed to provide additional operational support during periods of increased business demand. Successful candidates will remain employed by ZOO Digital and will be scheduled to work as and when business needs require, offering flexibility while supporting our dubbing and mastering operations.\r\nThe Assistant Audio Engineer will be responsible for Music & Effects dubbing package prequalification, generating prequalification reports, technical quality control of cloud dubbing sessions, ProTools dubbing package and mix session preparation and conformance.\r\nDay To Day Responsibilities Will Include\r\nSupport dubbing and mastering workflows through the preparation, prequalification, and quality control of audio assets.\r\nPrepare, conform, and maintain Pro Tools dubbing packages and mix sessions to client and technical specifications.\r\nPerform technical QC checks, loudness conformance, and create final audio deliverables.\r\nCreate, correct, rename, and organize audio elements and delivery packages for clients.\r\nProduce clear prequalification reports, identifying technical issues, risks, and required fixes.\r\nSupport major client projects, including Disney mastering and trailer prequalification work.\r\nCollaborate closely with Dubbing, Post Production, QC, and Audio Video QC teams to ensure smooth delivery workflows.\r\nManage workloads effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with changing priorities and tight turnaround times.\r\nMaintain accurate session files, reports, and deliverables while working to high standards of quality and attention to detail.\r\nUse Pro Tools and supporting systems confidently while adapting to evolving workflows, tools, and client specifications.\r\nThe role will require continual learning of new and modified specifications from title to title and client to client.\r\nRequirements\r\nWHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?\r\nWe are looking for enthusiastic applicants, ideally with a Bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent, or 2 years related experience and/or training.
