What You’ll Do Craft high‑quality cocktails, mixed drinks, beer, wine, and specialty beverages Provide warm, attentive, and professional bar service Engage with guests seated at the bar Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar Follow all alcohol service laws and ID verification procedures Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow Handle POS transactions and manage tabs accurately Assist with inventory, restocking, and opening/closing duties Who We’re Looking For Prior bartending experience required (upscale, craft cocktail, or high‑volume experience preferred) Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktail building, and bar techniques Excellent communication and guest‑service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, seasonal environment Professional, polished presence Must meet Illinois age requirements for alcohol service Ability to obtain Basset Training Certification Availability on evenings, weekends, and peak lake‑season days What We Offer Competitive hourly wage + high tip potential A beautiful lakeside environment — sunsets included Supportive team culture Opportunities for advancement as the marina grows Equal Employment Opportunity Slips Hideaway is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
