CNC Mill & Lathe Setup OperatorWe are seeking an experienced CNC Mill & Lathe Setup Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong setup and troubleshooting skills, experience working with tight tolerances, and the ability to maintain high-quality production standards in a fast-paced machine shop environment.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC mills and lathes for production and prototype workRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructionsInstall tooling, fixtures, and workholding equipmentLoad, verify, and make minor edits to CNC programsPerform tool offsets and machine adjustmentsInspect parts using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and gaugesEnsure parts meet dimensional and quality requirementsTroubleshoot machining and setup issues as they ariseMaintain safe and organized work areasComplete production and quality documentation accuratelyQualifications2+ years of CNC setup and operation experience preferredExperience with CNC mills and CNC lathesAbility to read blueprints and understand GD&TFamiliarity with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or similar CNC controlsStrong understanding of tooling, feeds, and speedsAbility to hold tight tolerances and perform quality inspectionsReliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focusedPreferred QualificationsExperience in aerospace, medical, or precision manufacturingAbility to edit G-code programsKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing practicesCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceOvertime opportunities availableHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid holidays and vacation401(k) with company matchCareer growth opportunities
