Production Worker
Warehouse WorkerThis role supports a fast-paced production warehouse by packaging and organizing products as they come off the machinery, lifting and stacking items according to color, and assisting with general material handling and shipping activities across multiple shifts.ResponsibilitiesWork efficiently in a fast-paced production environment and maintain consistent productivity throughout the shift.Package and organize products immediately after machinery completes each production cycle.Lift, stack, and sort products according to color and other specified criteria.Use RF scanners to track, identify, and record products and inventory movements.Perform general labor and general production tasks as directed by supervisors.Handle materials safely and efficiently, including loading and unloading items as needed.Operate pallet jacks to move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.Assist with forklift operations if trained and authorized, supporting material movement and storage.Support shipping and receiving activities, including preparing orders, staging shipments, and checking incoming materials.Assist with basic machine operation tasks related to the production process, following all safety and operational guidelines.Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures at all times.Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and adapt to changing priorities and production needs.Essential SkillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment.Strong attention to detail when packaging, organizing, and stacking products.Punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts.Willingness to learn new processes and be trained in multiple production areas.Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, stacking, and moving materials.Basic familiarity with general labor and general production work.Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions consistently.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with RF scanners for product and inventory tracking is beneficial.Experience with pallet jacks and forklift operation is helpful.Previous exposure to shipping and receiving processes is a plus.Comfort with basic machine operation in a production environment is preferred.Why Work Here?You will have the opportunity to be cross-trained in multiple areas of production, allowing you to broaden your skills and increase your value within the organization. The facility can be hot in the summer and is heated in the winter. The role involves working around production machinery, handling materials, and moving products throughout the warehouse. Steel-toe shoes are required as part of the standard safety attire.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Union, MO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.50/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
