We are looking for a skilled CDL A Driver to join the O'Connor Team. In this role you will be responsible for the accurate delivery of products to our licensed accounts between the warehouse to our account locations. This role will service our customers by ensuring deliveries are timely; will deliver stock, rotate, and store all product properly; and collect funds for product delivered. All routes are day deliveries, no overnight deliveries. Position has several bonus potentials throughout the year.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerform product deliveries along designated routes, and other associated duties to guarantee customer satisfaction.\nRead invoices, delivery memos, pick tickets and other records to guarantee accuracy of all orders.\nPerform daily pre-trip- Inspect vehicle equipment, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water, and request service and repairs as needed.\nAssemble orders for timely delivery to customer businesses, ensuring accurate delivery windows for each route stop.\nPlace delivered products in assigned storage locations at each route stop according to customer requests.\nMaintain accuracy of delivered product with no damage due to mishandling.\nAccountable for product rotation, merchandising of primary and secondary display areas, replenishment of shelf stock inventory\nImmediately communicate problems to O’Connor Distributing Supervisor by phone.\nDelivery cases may include use of hand truck, ramps, stairs, or other functions in the movement of cases.\nManage multiple assignments and tasks, ensuring appropriate use of time, equipment, and materials.\nAdhere to O’Connor Distributing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety guidelines.\nComply with traffic laws and obey transportation and traffic procedures.\nRemain DOT compliant and aware of DOT changes in guidelines.\nConvey O’Connor Distributing’s policy of professional appearance, and conduct.\nComplete administrative tasks and related paperwork to guarantee the efficiency of delivery operations.\nReview customer concerns to determine if items need to be moved, collected, and review deliveries of incorrect product.\nReport mechanical problems, delays, accidents or other traffic situations to O’Connor Distributing supervisors.\nTurn in invoices and monies received from customer deliveries.\nMaintain records, including vehicle logs, & keep interior of truck organized and clean.\n\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS\nMust possess a valid, current Class A or B Arkansas driver license with acceptable DMV record.\nAt least 1 year of route driving experience.\nMust be 21 years old.\nKnowledge of customer service standards and quality standards.\nAbility to use new applications/ and learn our Encompass Technologies software.\nAbility to perform repetitive lifting of 50 lbs. from floor to should level.\nVerbal and written communication skills.\nBasic math skills required.\nSelf-motivated; customer-focused.\nExcellent relationship management and relational skills.\nDetail-oriented; prioritize important action items; problem solver, active listener, independent thinker.\nCommitment to O’Connor Distributing company principles and standards.\nEDUCATION\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n\nGENERAL STATEMENT\nA DOT drug screen and background check is required.\nAll productive applicants must share a commitment to O’Connor Distributing goals and an ability to succeed in a fast-paced, results oriented environment.
