{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"2f5f92088216ab7cc01ac88e","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2f5f92088216ab7cc01ac88e","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2f5f92088216ab7cc01ac88e","title":"MATERIAL HANDLER","description":"DOMO Engineering Plastics US, LLC is looking to hire a Material Handler for our AM (7am - 7pm) shift\n*Continental schedule: rotates Sun/Wed/Thurs then Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat.*\nResponsible for all warehouse related transactions: material stores, materials movements, materials inventory, inbound/outbound materials shipments, product labelling, rf scanning, etc. – while promoting worksite safety and operations efficiency.\nSummary of Major Responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks)\nUnderstands and adheres to all DOMO Company policies and procedures.\nSafely and efficiently operate forklifts and various packaging tools\nUnderstands and follows correct process of rf scanners and software system.\nUnderstands difference in material types (i.e. raw materials vs. finished goods, blends, 1st choice vs. 2nd choice, waste, etc.).\nEnsures materials and products are accurately labelled and scanned immediately to ensure material traceability.\nUnderstands receiving process: raw materials, packaging and supplies, customer returns, miscellaneous packages, etc.\nUnderstands shipping process: customer orders, returns, material transfers, miscellaneous shipments, etc.\nEnsures inventory adjustments, as needed, are accurately and promptly processed when performing movements\nPerforms inventory and cycle counts as needed or as scheduled\nEnsures movement of trash, pallets, recyclables, etc. is performed in a timely fashion\nEnsures the warehouse, staging zones, and other common areas are prepared and clean for the next shift (sweeping, cleaning, wipe-downs, garbage, etc).\nCommunicates with team members and management to address any need for improvement.\nProvides daily information for shift notes, problems encountered, corrective actions taken, etc.\nWorks with in and promotes team environment.\nEducation\nRequired: High School or Equivalent\nExperience\nRequired: 2 years warehouse/forklift experience\nPreferred: 2 years warehouse/forklift experience in manufacturing environment.\nJob Requirements\nMust be 18 years or older\nMust be prepared to work** mandatory overtime, including some weekends** when required.\nAbility to operate forklift.\nAbility to operate rf scanner\nFlexibility, the willingness to look beyond the job description and assist in doing what must be done in a growing company.\nAbility to work in a positive and productive team environment.\nAbility to understand basic math.\nMust be able to read and write English.\nMust be dependable, with good attendance record.\nMust be able to lift heavy material (up to 50lbs) and handle physical effort.\nMust have good communication skills and the assertiveness to keep on top of documentation requirement.\nAbility to work with minimal supervision.\nLimitations & Disclaimer\nThe above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.\nDOMO is a drug-free workplace.\nDOMO will provide reasonable accommodation for qualified applicants and employees with disabilities unless doing so would cause undue hardship.\nThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the associate occupying this position.
