The Lead Studio Art Instructor is responsible for leading classes, workshops, camps, painting events, and private parties while also supporting studio operations, customer service, enrollment growth, and daily organization of the studio.\nThis is a highly interactive role that combines art instruction, customer engagement, studio operations, and sales support within a collaborative creative atmosphere.\nScheduling is based on studio programming, private bookings, camps, and event demand. Evening, weekend, and school vacation week availability is required.\nKey Responsibilities\nArt Instruction & Creative Experiences\nConfidently lead art classes, camps, workshops, birthday parties, paint nights, and creative experiences for children, teens, adults, and families\nTeach step-by-step acrylic painting classes and other studio creative programs\nDesign and create painting samples and instructional materials for classes and events\nAdapt instruction to various ages, skill levels, and group sizes\nCreate a positive, engaging, and encouraging classroom environment\nSupport active participation and foster creativity in all students and guests\nAssist with setup, breakdown, and preparation for classes, camps, and events\nDirect and support assistants during larger camps and programs when needed\nClient Experience & Customer Engagement\nCreate a welcoming, upbeat, and professional experience for all studio guests\nGreet customers and assist with registrations, reservations, purchases, and questions\nProfessionally interact with customers while supporting studio sales goals\nPromote studio programs, classes, camps, memberships, and upcoming events\nFollow up on customer inquiries and sales leads as needed\nHelp drive enrollment and repeat participation through positive customer relationships\nStudio Operations & Team Support\nSupport day-to-day studio operations and maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready environment\nAssist with inventory, supply organization, merchandising, and studio presentation\nComplete light administrative tasks and basic computer/POS functions\nReceive, unpack, and restock merchandise and supply deliveries\nMaintain studio cleanliness including washing brushes and dishes, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting\nAssist with opening and closing procedures as needed\nWork independently or collaboratively within a small team environment\nQualifications\nMust be 21 years of age or older\nValid driver’s license and reliable transportation required\nWillingness to complete CORI/background check and drug screening\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nOutgoing, energetic, and comfortable working with families and children\nAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced creative environment\nBasic computer, POS, and administrative skills\nSelf-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision\nPassion for art, creativity, and customer engagement\nFlexible availability including evenings, weekends, and school vacation weeks\nAbility to occasionally travel for off-site events\nExperience Preferred\nExperience leading and instructing step-by-step acrylic painting classes or group art events\nPrevious teaching, childcare, camp, or youth program experience preferred\nRetail, hospitality, customer service, or keyholder experience is a plus\nExperience achieving goals and completing tasks in a timely and organized manner\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and remain active for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours)\nAbility to lift up to 30 lbs\nAbility to climb ladders and assist with studio setup and organization tasks\nPreferred Traits\nWe’re looking for someone who is:\nCreative, energetic, and engaging\nFriendly and highly customer-focused\nOrganized and dependable\nComfortable leading groups and speaking publicly\nPositive, patient, and encouraging\nAdaptable and team-oriented\nExcited to contribute to a fun and growing creative business\nBenefits\nEmployee discount\nFlexible schedule\nCreative and collaborative work environment\nOpportunities for growth and leadership within the studio\nDress Code: Business casual attire with company-provided studio apparel/uniform items.\nPay: $29,600.00 -
