Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. May be responsible for setting the parameters and testing of production products.\n\nPrimary Duties & Responsibilities:\n\nSoftware Development\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain applications using C# and the .NET framework\nDevelop reusable software components, libraries, and frameworks supporting ATE test development\nImplement graphical user interfaces (GUIs), data collection tools, and automation utilities\nCreate software solutions that interface with ATE hardware, instrumentation, and manufacturing systems\nPerform software debugging, optimization, and performance tuning\n\nTest System Development\n\nSupport development and deployment of semiconductor production and characterization test solutions\nIntegrate software with ATE platforms, instruments, and hardware controllers\nDevelop automated test execution and data acquisition applications\nSupport test program releases and production deployments\n\nData Analysis & Reporting\n\nDevelop tools for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing test data\nCreate automated reporting solutions for yield, performance, and test metrics\nSupport manufacturing data analysis and root-cause investigations\n\nQuality & Verification\n\nDevelop unit tests and automated verification methods for new CMOS ASIC products\nParticipate in software design reviews and code reviews\nEnsure compliance with software development processes and configuration management practices\nDocument software requirements, architecture, design, and test results\n\nCross-Function Collaboration\n\nWork with the Teledyne FLIR design team, Manufacturing teams, and customers to formulate test requirements\nSupport failure analysis and production troubleshooting activities\nSame as “Support manufacturing data analysis and root-cause investigations”\nPrepare Teledyne FLIR characterization and wafer probe test stations\nPerform required characterization and production probe tests\nSupport and on occasion conduct performance testing to ensure the product meets performance requirements under various conditions\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives for test efficiency, repeatability, and automation\nAssist the design team in understanding and correcting any design deficiencies found during testing\nAssist other engineers in the performance of related duties\nMake sure equipment is configured correctly and debugged before initial hardware arrives\nVerification of new ICs and/or FPAs performance\n\nJob Qualifications:\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nAttention to Detail required assuring that tests are fully documented in compliance with Teledyne FLIR’s quality system\nAnalytical Problem Solving required to assist the design team in understanding and correcting design deficiencies\nCollaboration & Teamwork to effectively communicate with design team and customers\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nStrong Communication Skills – Oral, Listening & Written to effectively communicate and document test results and formulate test requirements\nInnovation: Must have the ability to develop new approaches and/or creative solutions using innovative methodologies and/or education.\n\nExperience\n\n3+ years of software development experience.\nExperience developing applications using C# and .NET.\nExperience with object-oriented design principles.\n\nTechnical Skills\n\nProficiency in:\nC#\n.NET Framework / .NET\nVisual Studio\nDatabase technologies (SQL Server or similar)\nUnderstanding of software architecture and design patterns\nStrong debugging and
