Responsible for overall management and oversight of activities within the Finance, Materials Management, Patient Account Services, and Health Information Management Departments.Roles & ResponsibilitiesOversee the accounting and fiscal activities of the organization's Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinics. Responsible for planning, controlling, and directing the financial operations of the medical center. Monitor and develop the budget process. Supervise and manage accounts payable and payroll. Prepare Medicare Cost Report and tax returns. Required Skills & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Finance and/or Accounting. Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration strongly preferred. 3-5 years of hospital executive finance experience (as VP of Finance or CFO), ideally within a rural health, critical access environment. Experience preparing 990's and CMS Cost Reports. A deep knowledge and understanding of Physician compensation. A strategic thinker and partner to the CEO and Board of Directors. Must be resourceful.
