This contract will support the CBL mission to provide experimentation support to the C-CDID with dynamic network experimentation integrated with CO, DODIN-A, EW and IA through the Cyber Battle Lab's Experimentation Branch (EB), Environments Support Branch (ESB), and the Army Persistent Experimentation eNvironment (APEN) Cyber Enterprise Service Center (CESC). The CBL Experimentation Support contract will provide support in the form of experiments, assessments, analyses and network support that will validate proposed new technical solutions to resolve known Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership & Education, Personnel, Facilities Policy (DOTMLPF-P) capability gaps within the CO, EW, Network, and IA force modernization lines of effort. This position is contingent upon contract award.\r\nPosition Summary\r\nThe Database Programmer designs, develops, maintains, and optimizes database solutions that support business applications, reporting systems, and enterprise data management. This role is responsible for creating database objects, developing data integration processes, ensuring data integrity, and improving database performance across operational and analytical environments.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nDesign, develop, and maintain database structures, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.\r\nWrite and optimize SQL queries for application support and reporting requirements.\r\nDevelop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data migration and integration.\r\nMonitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to improve efficiency.\r\nTroubleshoot database issues, data anomalies, and application performance problems.\r\nSupport database security, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.\r\nCollaborate with software developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders to implement database solutions.\r\nMaintain data quality, consistency, and integrity across multiple systems.\r\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and database standards.\r\nSupport system upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.\r\n3–8+ years of experience in database development and programming.\r\nStrong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.\r\nExperience with one or more database platforms\r\nOracle Corporation Oracle Database\r\nMicrosoft SQL Server\r\nIBM Db2\r\nPostgreSQL Global Development Group PostgreSQL\r\nMongoDB MongoDB\r\nExperience developing stored procedures, triggers, functions, and database packages.\r\nKnowledge of data modeling and normalization techniques.\r\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\r\nActive Top Secret Clearance\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nExperience with cloud database technologies such as\r\nAmazon Web Services AWS RDS/Aurora\r\nMicrosoft Azure SQL\r\nGoogle Google Cloud SQL\r\nFamiliarity with data warehousing concepts and business intelligence tools.\r\nExperience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.\r\nKnowledge of database security and compliance frameworks.\r\nRelevant certifications such as\r\nOracle Database Certification\r\nMicrosoft Azure Database Administrator Associate\r\nAWS Database Specialty\r\nDesired Technical Skills\r\nSQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, or PostgreSQL programming\r\nDatabase performance tuning and optimization\r\nETL development and data integration\r\nData modeling and schema design\r\nDatabase replication and high availability\r\nBackup and recovery management\r\nData warehousing and reporting\r\nVersion control systems (Git)\r\nSummit Federal Services, LLC is an equal opportunity employer regardless of race, color, religion, creed, sex, marital status, national origin, disability, age, veteran status, on-the-job injury, sexual orientation, political affiliation or belief.
