This role assists with system administration activities, troubleshooting, user support, security updates, and system performance monitoring to ensure a stable and reliable IT environment.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist with the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of Windows and Linux systems.\nMonitor system performance, availability, and operational health.\nTroubleshoot hardware, software, and system-related issues and escalate as needed.\nSupport user account administration, access management, and permissions management.\nApply security patches, updates, and system configurations in accordance with organizational policies.\nAssist with system backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery activities.\nDocument system configurations, procedures, and technical issues.\nSupport virtualization platforms and infrastructure components as required.\nCollaborate with senior administrators and other IT personnel to maintain system reliability and performance.\nQualifications:\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\nActive Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.\nFoundational knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.\nBasic understanding of networking concepts and IT infrastructure.\nExperience with user account and access management.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and within a team environment.\nStrong attention to detail and customer service orientation.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.\nFamiliarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.\nExperience supporting enterprise IT environments.\nRelevant industry certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or equivalent).\nSalary Disclosure:\nActual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance.
