We are looking for people who like to own a problem from start to finish in a high-responsibility and low-micromanagement environment.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDevelop highly reliable software solutions that are used across SpaceX production and engineering\r\nCreate new applications that improve how SpaceX production operates\r\nBuild prototypes to prove out key design concepts and quantify technical constraints\r\nDeep dive into users' problems to find and create efficient solutions\r\nIntegrate electronics design software to manufacturing equipment\r\nDisplay ownership throughout and following the release process for applications\r\nBasic Qualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline\r\n1+ years of experience in full stack software development (internship and/or project experience is acceptable)\r\nPreferred Skills And Experience\r\nProgramming experience in C#.NET, Python, Go, Java or similar object-oriented language\r\nExperience with version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery concepts\r\nExpertise in designing software systems\r\nDeep understanding of testing, continuous integration, build, deployment & monitoring\r\nExpertise in profiling and improving application performance\r\nExperience with build systems (Make, Bazel) and package management tools (pip, npm)\r\nExperience with UNIX-like operating systems\r\nExperience working with in-stream data processing using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or similar technologies\r\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes\r\nFront-end experience in Angular, React, or similar JavaScript framework\r\nDatabase experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar database technologies\r\nExperience with enterprise grade ERP systems\r\nExperience integrating third-party industrial equipment (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Fuji, Nordson, etc.)\r\nExperience integrating third-party CAD Software (NX, Altium, Xpedition, etc.)\r\nAdditional Requirements\r\nMust be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed\r\nThis position is based in Redmond, WA (Seattle area), and requires being onsite full-time – hybrid and remote work will not be considered\r\nPay Range\r\nSoftware Engineer/LevelI: $125,000.00 – $145,000.00 per year\r\nSoftware Engineer/LevelII: $145,000.00 – $175,000.00 per year\r\nYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.\r\nBase salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
