The supervisor will ensure all sanitation processes meet regulatory and company standards while supporting production and maintenance teams to maintain efficient plant operations.\n\nJOB DUTIES:\nSanitation Oversight (Primary)\n\nLead and support sanitation team members to ensure all cleaning and sanitation tasks are completed\nDirects and monitors all sanitation workers and schedules sanitation activities in accordance with the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS)\nDrives the engagement, development, and performance of all members of their team\nDirects SSOP program and master sanitation program; directly verifies compliance by the sanitation crew, reviews and maintains all documentation\nProvides or coordinates on-going training and ensures development of the sanitation crew to ensure that sanitation partners possess active working knowledge of all sanitation and cleaning procedures\nExecute and support CIP, COP, and external sanitation activities per approved procedures\nEnsures cleaning/sanitation chemicals and tools are being used safely, correctly, and effectively\nWorks with the Production Manager to identify resource needs\nControls the Sanitation Department budgets by properly utilizing resources and developing cost-savings ideas\nParticipates in selection, discipline, evaluation and development of department members\nOrdering of required supplies for sanitation processes\nAssists the Quality Assurance Department with inspection and testing activities through stages of the manufacturing processes to ensure internal and regulatory standards are met.\nCollaborates with QA, Production, and Maintenance staff to solve food safety and quality issues\nMaintains product quality through adherence to good manufacturing practices, Food Safety Preventative Controls, product specifications and quality procedures.\nMonitors and documents quality measures using analytical tools\nDemonstrates and understands safety as our core value and follows the key essentials to safety as set forth by our safety resolution; active engagement in safety committee, drives safety initiatives for department)\nPerforms other duties as needed in support of business objectives and Health-Ade Mission & Values\nMaintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality\nResponsible for onboarding and training of sanitation employees, including MSS expectations, chemical safety, CIP/COP basics, and external cleaning standards\nAssist with internal and external audits (GMP, SQF, FDA, customer) by providing documentation and operational support\nMaintenance Support\nProvide leadership and guidance to maintenance technicians during the 3rd shift\nTroubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic repairs or adjustments\nCollaborate with maintenance to prioritize repairs and preventative maintenance tasks that impact sanitation or production readiness\nEnsure all equipment cleaning and maintenance tasks are coordinated to minimize downtime\nProduction Support\nSupport production teams to ensure lines are ready for start-up after sanitation completion\nCommunicate operational status, sanitation coverage, and maintenance issues to production and leadership teams\nAssist in monitoring production metrics and identifying operational bottlenecks related to sanitation or equipment\nEnvironmental & Compliance Oversight\nManage environmental program and communicate potential wastewater or discharge concerns to QA or site leadership\nWrite and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with Controlled Documents Policy\nEnsure only approved sanitation chemicals and tools are used\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED required, with 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, food production, or sanitation\nExperience leading or training teams\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFamiliarity with Master Sanitation Schedules (MSS) and sanitation documentation systems\nExposure to food safety programs such as GMPs, SQF, or FDA-regulated environments\nExperience supporting pre-op inspections or sanitation verifications\nBasic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)\n\nPhysical Demands:\nMust be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. in an occasional manner.\nMust be able to grasp with fingers and hand for extended periods of time in a repetitive motion.\nMust be able to use 3-points of contact when climbing or descending stairs.\nMust be able to stoop, bend at knees, and/or crouch in a repetitive manner.\nMust be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.\nMust be able to work in environmental exposure including, but not limited to, freezer and noisy, cold, wet, or humid conditions of 34°F or below.\nOccasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, toxic, and/or caustic chemicals.\nOccasional material exposure to moving mechanical parts and equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).\n\nHOURS & WORKDAYS:\n3rd Shift – Monday through Saturday from 7:00pm to 3:30am;
