The Project Engineer will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents and company standards. This role is responsible for managing project documentation, coordinating RFIs and submittals, tracking project progress, supporting cost control and scheduling efforts, and facilitating communication between field and office teams. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, technically proficient, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment while contributing to the overall success of the project team.\r\nDuties and Responsibilities\r\nContract start up docs/close out docs\r\nComplete monthly AIA billing based on contract terms\r\nPerform required payroll reporting based on contract terms (weekly, monthly, quarterly)\r\nManage, maintain, and follow up on BID Calendar/Follow-up\r\nPrepare Bid Bonds/attend bid meetings\r\nAssist Project Managers and Superintendents in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout\r\nManage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, drawings, specifications, permits, contracts, and closeout documents\r\nReview contract documents and project plans to ensure scope requirements, schedules, and project objectives are clearly understood and executed\r\nCoordinate and track all RFIs, submittals, ASIs, bulletins, and change orders to ensure timely resolution and distribution to all project stakeholders\r\nSupport project scheduling activities by monitoring progress, tracking milestones, identifying potential delays, and assisting with recovery planning when necessary\r\nAssist with project cost control by tracking commitments, purchase orders, subcontractor invoices, change orders, and budget impacts\r\nCollaborate with field personnel, subcontractors, architects, engineers, owners, and vendors to maintain project communication and workflow efficiency\r\nAttend project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, distribute action items, and follow up on outstanding issues\r\nEnsure all project information, communications, and documentation are properly maintained within Procore and company systems\r\nCoordinate procurement activities and assist in tracking material deliveries to support project schedules and field operations\r\nAssist with project startup activities including permits, insurance certificates, subcontractor onboarding, and safety documentation\r\nSupport project closeout activities including punch lists, warranties, as-built documentation, O&M manuals, and final project turnover\r\nHelp ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards and contractual requirements\r\nReview and process subcontractor and vendor documentation for accuracy and completeness\r\nAssist in identifying project risks, constructability concerns, and coordination conflicts while helping develop practical solutions\r\nMaintain accurate records of daily project activities, correspondence, and project status updates\r\nEnsure all project team members have proper access and utilization of Procore and other project management software platforms\r\nSupport the company's commitment to safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and efficient project delivery\r\nExpectations\r\nPerform all duties and responsibilities as required\r\nBe dependable, reliable, and consistent by showing up to work as scheduled, on time and ready to work\r\nBe a team player by striving for harmony and working with
